New England Patriots what to watch:
The Patriots, who had dominated the AFC for twenty years, are now tied with the Denver Broncos with a 1-5 record, the poorest record in the conference.
They are completely disorganized in every aspect of the game and have lost three straight games, mostly as a result of injuries and a shortage of ability in important positions. Jones has not thrown a touchdown pass in his previous three games and has picked up five interceptions, including two pick-sixes.
The once-elite Patriots defense has been decimated by injuries; they currently rank 23rd in points allowed. This week might be the third straight game the Patriots have lost by a margin of thirty or more points.
Buffalo Bills what to watch:
The Buffalo Bills defeated the New York Giants on Sunday Night Football, a game that was much closer than it should have been, to move their record to 4-2 and put them one game behind the Miami Dolphins. With one of the league's strongest rosters, Buffalo might be ready to make a run at the Super Bowl this winter.
Buffalo didn't play as well as its opponents in Week 6, but there's still no cause for concern with this group. The Bills, who rank third in both scoring offense and scoring defense, are among the NFL's most well-rounded teams. They have also dominated the Patriots recently, winning each of the previous four meetings by a minimum of 12 points.
One of the main causes is that Mac Jones has regressed into one of the worst passers in the NFL, whereas Josh Allen is one of the finest quarterbacks in the league and a current MVP candidate.
