Washington Commanders what to watch:

In the meantime, the Commanders lost to the 49ers 27-10 in Week 17, marking their seventh consecutive defeat. Washington turned the ball over twice and managed just 225 yards of total offense, so not much went right for them. Terry McLaurin had four receptions for 61 yards and a 41-yard touchdown in the defeat.

Sam Howell, the quarterback for the Washington Wizards, will get the start for the team despite a challenging first campaign. This season, he fumbled five times, was sack sixty-one times, and threw 19 interceptions. But in addition to running for 264 yards and five scores, he has passed for 3,793 yards and 20 touchdowns. On Sunday, they'll need to stay offensively aggressive if they want to hang with Dallas.

Dallas Cowboys what to watch:

Dallas just emerged from a thrilling 20-19 victory over the Detroit Lions the previous week. With 23 seconds left, Detroit pulled within a point on an 11-yard touchdown reception by Amon-Ra St. Brown. The team decided to try for two. When officials met, they discovered that the tackle had not reported as eligible, which allowed the Cowboys to win even though it initially looked like they had converted by tossing the conversion to Taylor Decker.

With a 92-yard touchdown reception, CeeDee Lamb's 13 receptions for 227 yards resulted in the longest offensive touchdown in NFL history. Lamb may be a nightmare for the Commanders' pass defense, which is bottom in the NFL, with 122 receptions for 1,651 yards and 10 touchdowns so far this season. In the victory over Detroit, Dak Prescott completed 345 yards of passing for two touchdowns; in the Week 12 victory over Washington, he only required 32 pass attempts for 331 yards and four touchdowns.
