Atlanta Falcons what to watch:
The Falcons boast one of the best rushing offenses in the league and are 2-0 at home this year. In his first four professional games, rookie Bijan Robinson has performed well and has the makings of a future Pro Bowl player.
Desmond Ridder, a second-year quarterback, has battled consistency concerns this season but has shown flashes of elite brilliance. In 2023, he has played in two of his greatest games at home, finishing with 352 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception on 68% of his passes. In those two games, he also ran for 38 yards and a touchdown.
Houston Texans what to watch:
With DeMeco Ryans as their first-year head coach, the Texans are on the right track. Houston has returned the favor with back-to-back blowout victories after the team's opening two blowout losses. The Texans destroyed the Pittsburgh Steelers 30–6 in Week 4 after dominating the Jaguars 37–17 in Week 3.
The performance of rookie quarterback C.J. Stroud has been a major factor in the Texans' resurgence. With 1,212 yards, six touchdowns, and no interceptions on 62.3% of his throw attempts, Stroud is the No. 2 pick in the 2023 NFL Draft. In addition, he has 14 rushes for 51 yards.
