Houston Texans what to watch:
When the Houston Rockets lost to the Indianapolis Colts in Week 2, rookie quarterback C.J. Stroud showed promise. Despite the fact that he produced much of his work after the game was already decided, he did exhibit the makings of a potential starting NFL quarterback. Stroud completed 30 of 47 pass attempts for 384 yards and two touchdowns by the end of the game.
If All-Pro Laremy Tunsil is able to play, Houston's offensive line might see a significant improvement. Due to a knee ailment, the seasoned left tackle was unable to play in last week's match and is deemed questionable for Sunday's encounter. Stroud has been benched a league-high 11 times this season due to Tunsil's injury.
Jacksonville Jaguars what to watch:
Jacksonville should be well-positioned to handle this spread at home because Jacksonville is the division favorite and has already defeated the Colts by a double-digit margin on the road. In addition to gaining 47 yards per game on the ground, Trevor Lawrence has completed 63% of his passes for 457 yards and two touchdowns so far. The obvious leader is running back Travis Etienne Jr., who has a 30-117-1 rushing line for the year. Thus far, Christian Kirk, Evan Engram, and Calvin Ridley Jr. have all proven to be dependable targets in the passing game.
The Jaguars` defense is another strong point. After two weeks, the Jaguars are ranked seventh in the NFL for total defense. They also kept the Chiefs in check last week despite the loss, forcing three turnovers and limiting one of the best offenses in the league to only 17 points.
