Houston Texans what to watch:
Indianapolis has been having trouble since the middle of the previous campaign, and last week's loss against Jacksonville was their eighth straight loss. The Colts are 1-5 in their last six road games and have only covered the spread once in their previous seven games overall. Houston has covered the spread in four of its last six games, demonstrating its recent profitability.
Without running back Jonathan Taylor, Stroud completed 28 of 44 passes for 242 yards last week, leaving Indianapolis short on firepower. In their first game, the Colts only mustered 65 yards of rushing on 26 carries, or 2.5 yards per carry. They are too dangerous to back on the road, as they were only 2 of 12 on third-down attempts and 1 of 5 on fourth down efforts.
Indianapolis Colts what to watch:
In the season opener, the Colts battled valiantly against the Jaguars, but ultimately, their inexperience cost them. After sustaining a slight knee injury in Week 1, rookie quarterback Anthony Richardson proved why he was selected in the first round by successfully completing 24 of 37 passes for 223 yards, one touchdown, and one interception. Moreover, he ran for 40 yards and a touchdown.
The Jaguars offense is one of the best in the league, but the Colts defense held their own for the majority of the game. Defensive tackle DeForest Buckner had seven tackles, one sack, one forced fumble, and one defensive touchdown in addition to linebacker Zaire Franklin's eighteen total tackles.
