Las Vegas Raiders what to watch:

Six of the last seven games and four of the previous five have seen Las Vegas score 17 points or less. But Los Angeles is ranked 29th in both overall defense and pass defense this season, having surrendered an average of 21.7 points. In their three games in Las Vegas against the Chargers, the Raiders have scored at least 27 points, winning two and dropping the other in overtime.

Josh Jacobs, a running back who injured his quadriceps last week and finished the season with 139 yards from scrimmage and a touchdown against Los Angeles in Week 4, is someone the Raiders hope to get back after he ran for 144 yards and a touchdown against the team at home the previous year. In his four games versus the Chargers, wide receiver Davante Adams has averaged 108.5 receiving yards, putting up impressive performances.

Los Angeles Chargers what to watch:

After Herbert was injured in the first half, Stick made his second NFL game last week, finishing with 179 yards on 13 of 24 passes. The 28-year-old's lone prior NFL action occurred in 2020 during Week 7 versus Jacksonville, where he played two snaps. Stick may need to further his bond with rookie wide receiver Quentin Johnston, as the veteran Keenan Allen is sidelined for Thursday Night Football due to a heel ailment.

Last weekend, the Chargers were led by 22-year-old Johnston, the 21st overall choice in the 2023 NFL Draft, with 91 receiving yards, 79 of which came on back-to-back grabs during the team's scoring drive in the fourth quarter.
