Detroit Lions what to watch:

Leading the NFL in passing yards this season with 4,575 and ranking fourth with 30 touchdown passes, Goff was one of the most productive quarterbacks in the league. Over the past two seasons, the 29-year-old has excelled at home, tossing 42 touchdown passes and only nine interceptions in 17 games. Amon-Ra St. Brown, who tied for second in receptions, third in receiving yards, and fourth in touchdown catches in 2023, was quarterback quarterback Nick Foerster's top target.

The 24-year-old wide receiver set career highs with nine 100-yard games this season, which is the third-highest total in team history after Herman Moore's ten in 1995 and Calvin Johnson's eleven in 2012. In the last four games, St. Brown has caught a touchdown pass and has three times surpassed triple digits in receiving yards. On the other side of the ball, defensive end Aidan Hutchinson recorded 11.5 sacks, the most by a Lion since Ezekiel Ansah recorded 12 in 2017. Detroit was second in the NFL against the run with an average of 88.8 yards allowed.

Los Angeles Rams what to watch:

Having won seven of its previous eight games and four in a row, Los Angeles Rams is among the NFL's hottest teams going into the postseason. The only loss suffered by the team throughout that time was a 37-31 overtime loss against Baltimore Ravens in Week 14. Matthew Stafford, a former quarterback for the Lions, is in charge of a team that finished ninth in scoring, seventh in overall offense, and tenth in throwing in the league.

After spending 12 seasons at Ford Field, the 35-year-old Stafford surpassed all previous quarterbacks in passing yards and touchdown throws at the stadium. In 2023, he came very close to recording his tenth season of 4,000 yards passing when he completed 3,965 yards while five receivers gained at least 370 receiving yards. Puka Nacua led the group and set rookie marks for receiving yards and catches while finishing fourth in the league with 1,486 yards.
