Tampa Bay Buccaneers what to watch:

In an attempt to save money, Tampa Bay signed Baker Mayfield to a contract that included incentives after Tom Brady announced his retirement once more this summer. The former first overall pick is currently in the running for NFL Comeback Player of the Year after having one of his best professional seasons.

Mayfield has completed 64.3% of his throws for 3,598 yards and 26 touchdowns with just eight interceptions, enough for a career-high 96.2 quarterback rating. In his last three games, he has thrown for 708 yards and nine touchdowns in total. On October 1, he defeated the Saints 26-9 with a three-touchdown performance.

New Orleans Saints what to watch:

The Saints lost their game against the Los Angeles Rams last Thursday, 30-22. By the end of the third quarter, New Orleans was behind 27–7, and that lead was simply too big to overcome. Derek Carr, who threw for 319 yards and three touchdowns, gave the losing team a solid effort.

Carr has struggled with inconsistent play for the Saints in 2023, but he is coming off two consecutive solid games. The former star player at Fresno State has 3,417 throwing yards, 19 touchdown passes, and eight interceptions on the season. Chris Olave, a wide receiver in his second year with 81 receptions for 1,041 yards and four touchdowns, has been his main target.
