Buffalo Bills and New York Jets what to watch:
The Jets vs. Bills game seemed to be one of the unquestionably best games on the Week 11 NFL schedule on Sunday at the start of the season. But neither club has lived up to the hype; the Jets are 4-5 this year and lost Aaron Rodgers in Week 1, while the Bills are 5-5 and have lost two straight. This is an important game because, with a victory on Sunday, both teams would still be in the middle of the playoff chase.
This season, Buffalo is 4-1 at Orchard Park, winning by an average of 16.8 points. Buffalo would be 5-0 at home if not for a 12-man-on-the-field penalty that was called after the Broncos failed to make their first attempt at a game-winning field goal as time ran out last week. But after the penalty was called, the Broncos tried again and won 24–22 on Monday Night Football against the Bills.
Following Buffalo's sixth straight game with 25 points or fewer, the Bills fired play caller and offensive coordinator Ken Dorsey following the defeat. The Bills are averaging 20.5 points per game during their previous six games and 26.2 PPG on the season, even in a "down" stretch for an offense like Buffalo's.
