New England Patriots what to watch:

With New England having won 12 straight home games and 15 overall, this rivalry has been as one-sided as any NFL series in the last ten years. September saw the Patriots win on the road at MetLife Stadium behind 80 rushing yards from seasoned back Ezekiel Elliott.

In its last three games, New York has allowed 31.7 points per game and has lost seven of its past nine games. Last week, the Jets were thoroughly outclassed by the Browns, allowing quarterback Joe Flacco to amass 309 passing yards and three touchdowns. In their last nine games, they have only covered the spread once, and against New England, they have failed to cover six times in a row.

New York Jets what to watch:

Over the last two seasons, New England has been among the worst teams to bet on; in its last 20 games, the team has only covered the spread five times. In their eight home games, the Patriots have an NFL-worst 1-7 record, and in their last five games in January, they have only covered the spread once. Last week against Buffalo, Zappe concluded with zero touchdowns and three interceptions, while Ezekiel Elliott was the top rusher with only 39 yards.

Over the past month, New York's offense has shown flashes of life, scoring 20 points per game on average for a four-game run and scoring 30 points on two separate occasions. Over the last two weeks, running back Breece Hall has averaged 90.5 rushing yards and two touchdowns. There is no reason for the Patriots to win on Sunday because New England can still grab the second overall choice in the forthcoming draft.
