Los Angeles Rams what to watch:
Los Angeles' passing attack will get a boost this weekend when All-Pro wide receiver Cooper Kupp makes his comeback after missing the first four games of 2023. In Kupp's absence, rookie wide receiver Puka Nakua has thrived, leading the league in receptions and ranking second in receiving yards. In the Colts' overtime loss last week, he caught nine catches for 163 yards and scored his first touchdown as a professional.
QB Matthew Stafford is ranked second in passing yards through four weeks with 1,229, largely due to Nacua's rise. The Rams were pleasantly surprised by running back Kyren Williams, who has also helped them not lose a beat even after they traded starter Cam Akers to the Vikings a few weeks ago.
Philadelphia Eagles what to watch:
Even on days when its defense struggles, like it did last Sunday against the Commanders, Philadelphia is still a formidable force. The Eagles played a 24 point second half/overtime game, with Jalen Hurts throwing for 319 yards and two touchdowns and running for 34 more yards. A.J. Brown, the wide receiver for Philadelphia, caught nine receptions for 175 yards and two touchdowns, including a 59-yard ball that went for six points, and Washington had no answer for him. Wide receiver Devonta Smith caught seven receptions from Hurts for 78 yards on nine targets, without finding the end zone.
The Eagles' offensive performance on third down conversions was 4 for 12, despite converting both of their fourth down attempts, which may raise concerns. Nick Sirianni's squad will probably need to play a cleaner game to win on the road against a fierce Rams club.
