With two weeks left, the Texans are still in the running for the playoffs, which gives Houston a significant psychological advantage.
Two weeks ago, Houston defeated Tennessee on the road without starting quarterback C.J. Stroud thanks to an overtime triumph led by backup quarterback Case Keenum. In terms of a possible comeback this weekend, Stroud is moving in the right way, which would help the Texans. During that time, the Titans also managed a stunning upset victory over Miami, proving that they are still competitive toward the conclusion of the season. Derrick Henry, the running back, has scored more than 85 yards through rushes in two of his previous four games, including the matchup with Seattle last week.
With an average of 4.6 yards per carry, he finished with 88 yards and a touchdown against the Seahawks. Due to an ankle ailment, rookie quarterback Will Levis missed practice last week, but he returned to the field earlier this week and is listed as healthy going into this game. In their last nine games, including their last five at home, the Texans have only covered the spread three times.
