Philadelphia Eagles what to watch:

Philadelphia hasn't won a game by double digits in more than two months, so they haven't been playing well lately. Former MVP candidate and quarterback Jalen Hurts has had some difficulty; he has already thrown 13 interceptions this season.

Using their running backs, especially D'Andre Swift, to rush the ball early and often is one strategy the Eagles can use to win this weekend. Swift has carried the ball 216 times this season for 988 yards and five touchdowns. He will take on the Cardinals defense on Sunday, who give up the most rushing yards per game in the NFL—147. The Eagles should have no issue moving the ball against an Arizona team that is severely shorthanded.

Arizona Cardinals what to watch:

Before being hired away to become the head coach of Arizona in early 2023, Jonathan Gannon served as the defensive coordinator for the Eagles for two seasons. On Sunday, he will try to make amends with his former team, as Gannon's squad has struggled this season due to a lack of depth at many positions on both sides of the ball. Arizona boasts offensive weapons, such as tight end Trey McBride and quarterback Kyler Murray, who can hurt the struggling Philadelphia defense.

Murray is 2-4 in his six starts this season, although last week against Chicago he scored two touchdowns passing the ball. McBride, a second-year player with 44 catches since Murray's return, is Murray's primary target. McBride is an important component of Arizona's offense and should once again play a major role in his team's ability to move the ball in Week 17, even if he only gained 31 yards on six receptions the previous week.
