Cleveland Browns what to watch:
A few weeks ago, Cleveland signed quarterback Joe Flacco, the former MVP of the Super Bowl, and in his first two games, Flacco has outperformed most realistic expectations. Flacco completed 26 of 45 passes for 311 yards, three touchdowns, and one interception in Sunday's victory over Jacksonville. In these final four weeks of the 2023 season, Flacco has the ability to lead Cleveland to a postseason berth, with rookie backup Dorian Thompson-Robinson still getting used to the pro game and starter Deshaun Watson sidelined for the entire campaign.
Tight end David Njoku was open all game long against the Jaguars, even though their defense was generally strong. He scored two touchdowns in the first half. Njoku has now over 50 yards receiving in six of his past eight games after catching six passes for 91 yards.
Chicago Bears what to watch:
Quarterback Justin Fields' performance will play a significant role in whether or not Chicago wins on Sunday, at least in keeping the game close. Chicago is 2-1 since Fields returned from a hand injury three games ago, and he has taken advantage of his mobility to help the team win. In those games put together, the quick-footed quarterback has run 42 times for 221 yards and a touchdown in addition to throwing for 609 yards and two scores.
Wide receiver D.J. Moore, who has 76 receptions for 1,071 yards and seven touchdowns this season, is Fields' primary weapon in the passing game. Moore is on track to surpass his previous career best of 1,193 yards through the air, which he attained in 2020, thanks to his developing rapport with his quarterbacks.
