Kansas City Chiefs what to watch:

This season, Patrick Mahomes' offense hasn't looked as good; in their first two games against the Lions and Jaguars, they have only scored 37 points in total. However, as demonstrated by Mahomes' 305 throwing yards and two touchdowns in the win last week, things appear to be improving. Travis Kelce, a star tight end, did not score in Week 1 but did in Week 2. If KC's offense is going to turn things around this week, it will be up to the receivers to perform well. Rashee Rice, Justin Watson, Kadarius Toney, and Skye Moore aren't able to give Mahomes a reliable replacement for Kelce yet.

Isiah Pacheco, the running back, might have a great day for Kansas City since they should be able to find rushing lanes against the lesser Bears defensive line. He only had 12 carries for 70 yards last week against Jacksonville, including a game-high 31-yard run. Star defensive end Chris Jones made his regular season debut for 2023 last week, and his impact was seen right away. Trevor Lawrence was benched four times by the Chiefs, and they have the potential to ruin Fields' Sunday.

Chicago Bears what to watch:

With about two minutes remaining last week, Chicago was down three points and the ball was within their own 5-yard line. However, Shaq Barrett of Tampa Bay received a brilliant interception from Justin Fields that was returned for the game-winning touchdown. There is a lot of unrest going on in Chicago right now between Fields' problems with play calling, his lack of flexibility to improvise, and Bears defensive coordinator Alan Williams' resignation on Wednesday. The squad's 12-game losing record appears to be coming to an end, but facing a formidable Kansas City team this week feels like an uphill task.

The Bears' recent signing, wide receiver D.J. Moore, caught six catches for 104 yards in the team's defeat the previous week. Moore looks to be getting along better with Fields after being restricted to 2-25 against Green Bay in Week 1. If Chicago wants to succeed on the scoreboard against Kansas City, their rushing attack needs to exert more pressure. Fields recorded the second-highest single-season rushing total by a quarterback last year with 1,143 yards. Chicago's quarterback has only gained three yards on the ground last week out of 13 tries for 62 yards in two games this year.
