Tampa Bay Buccaneers what to watch:

In his first regular-season start, Mayfield performed admirably for the Buccaneers. Mayfield completed 21 of 34 passes for 173 yards and two touchdowns in Tampa Bay's Week 1 victory, which ended in a 20–17 victory. More significantly, Mayfield just took one sack while playing a turnover-free game and taking good care of the ball.

Mike Evans was a seasoned wide receiver and Mayfield's primary target. On 11 targets in Week 1, the four-time Pro Bowl selection caught six catches for 66 yards and a touchdown. In Week 1, the Bucs' defense was outstanding, causing three turnovers and holding Minnesota's potent offense to only 17 scores and 369 yards overall.

Chicago Bears what to watch:

Under Tom Brady, Tampa had offensive struggles the previous season, and the team's early results this year don't seem too promising. In Week 1, the Bucs won both possession time and turnovers, but they only amassed 242 total yards. It's a bit much to expect another turnover-free game out of Mayfield, who isn't known for being the most cautious with the ball. Additionally, Chicago's run-heavy approach helps them win the time of possession fight. Speaking of running, the Bucs posted a 2.2 rushing average in Week 1 after finishing bottom in the NFL with 3.4 yards per carry the previous season.

Since the beginning of the previous season, no team had a worse overall record at home than the Buccaneers. They are 2-7-1 (including the playoffs) and have already ruled out two defensive starters for Sunday. Given the Bucs' difficulties on the ground, Chicago has the distinct advantage in the trenches. The Bears did lead the NFL in rushing yards and rushing average the previous season. The Bears will have a strong desire to forget about last week.
