Arizona Cardinals what to watch:
Under new coach Jonathan Gannon, Arizona is still playing football with a lot of inspiration. Last Saturday, there was a 19-point difference in points, but the Cardinals persevered and gave San Francisco a fight worth seeing. Joshua Dobbs, the quarterback, has passed for four touchdowns and no picks in his first four games. This is an amazing accomplishment given that he was acquired by Arizona late in training camp.
With a 5.1 yards per carry average this season, running back James Conner has been a dependable asset for the Cardinals, having gained 318 yards and two scores in the air. Marquise Brown, the team's leading receiver, caught seven passes for 96 yards versus San Francisco, and as of 2023, he has 239 receiving yards and two touchdowns. The Cardinals can upset the Bengals in a game that should be close if they play a clean game and use their playmakers frequently.
Cincinnati Bengals what to watch:
Cincinnati's offense has been ineffective through four games, probably as a result of quarterback Joe Burrow's persistent calf ailment from training camp. The Bengals haven't scored an offensive touchdown in the first half and are averaging 12.3 points a game, which is second worst among all teams.
Cincinnati's offense will advance quickly if Burrow can raise his completion percentage from a career-low 57.6% to begin 2023. After all, with 19 receptions in the past two games, Bengals wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase is among the best in the league. Joe Mixon, a running back, hopes to improve on his season-long failure to gain 70 yards on the ground against the Arizona Cardinals.
