Arizona Cardinals what to watch:

It would be an understatement to say that the Cardinals looked dominant against the Giants in the first half. Arizona was up 20-0 at the half and appeared to be in complete control as they advanced toward their first 2023 victory. However, Arizona suffered its second loss and 14th in their previous 15 games at State Farm Stadium after a 31-8 second half that was sealed off by a Graham Gano field goal with seconds remaining. Since the start of the previous season, Arizona has now dropped nine straight games, which is second longest in the league only to the Bears.

Joshua Dobbs, the replacement quarterback, passed for 228 yards and a touchdown in the loss, while James Conner, the running back, did the most of his damage before halftime with 106 yards and a touchdown. On Sunday, Arizona's top wide receiver Marquise Brown, tight end Zach Ertz, and rookie Michael Wilson all reached the 50-yard mark as pass catchers. Arizona didn't give up a sack or a turnover, which seems like a recipe that must be followed if they want to beat Dallas on Sunday.

Dallas Cowboys what to watch:

Dallas' 2023 season appeared to be off to a great start until star cornerback Trevon Diggs sustained an injury during practice on Thursday that will keep him out of action for the duration of the campaign. Even though Micah Parsons is leading the Cowboys' defense, which has already suppressed Zach Wilson and Daniel Jones, Diggs' departure still creates a hole. Parsons, the front-runner for the 2023 NFL Defensive Player of the Year award, had two sacks and three tackles for a loss against the Jets on Sunday.

QB Dak Prescott has guided Dallas' offense to similar success so far, completing 31 of 38 throws for 255 yards and two touchdowns. His primary target, wide receiver Cee Dee Lamb, caught 11 passes for 143 yards, good for a game high, but tight ends Luke Schoonmaker and Jake Ferguson scored both scores. Tony Pollard, a running back, gained 79 yards on 25 rushes and 37 yards from seven receptions. Arizona's chances of slowing down Dallas' explosive attack this weekend are slim to none.
