Atlanta Falcons what to watch:
Earlier in the week, the Packers appeared to be stronger favorites than the line indicated. But after teams disclosed their injury reports, it appears that the much healthier Falcons squad will prevail on Sunday. Due to injuries to wide receiver Christian Watson and running back Aaron Jones, Green Bay will be greatly disadvantaged against Atlanta's formidable defensive line. In addition, linebacker Quay Walker (concussion), who made four tackles and an interception against Chicago in Week 1, will not be available.
This season, the Falcons' running game is a formidable force. All three of Atlanta's touchdowns in Week 1 were scored by rookie running back Bijan Robinson and running back Tyler Allgeier, who will be challenging for Green Bay's defense to handle.
Green Bay Packers what to watch:
The Packers had a great start to the Jordan Love era. In their season opener, Green Bay defeated the Chicago Bears 38–20 after controlling the game from the beginning to the end. Love finished with 245 yards, three touchdowns, and no interceptions on 15 of 27 passes completed. Romeo Doubs, a wide receiver (4 receptions, 26 yards, 2 touchdowns), and Luke Musgrave, a rookie tight end (3 receptions, 50 yards), were Love's primary targets.
For Green Bay in Week 1, Jones maintained his high level of production. The 28-year-old caught two passes for 86 yards and a touchdown in addition to rushing nine times for 41 yards and a touchdown. Jones is likely to participate on Sunday despite being sidelined by a hamstring ailment.
