Chicago Bears what to watch:
In this game, the Bears had home field advantage, which historically has virtually always been valuable. Tyson Bagent, an undrafted rookie quarterback, is another unproven asset for the Chicago Bears. Excellently athletic, the former Division-II standout performed well enough in the preseason to earn the backup position on the team. Although it is too early to tell if he will be a starter or not, the Raiders will find it challenging to prepare for a quarterback who is not as well-known.
D.J. Moore is another talented wide receiver for the Bears. The 26-year-old veteran has had an incredible rookie campaign in Chicago, bringing 32 receptions for 582 yards and five touchdowns into this game.
Las Vegas Raiders what to watch:
In this game, the Raiders hold a substantial experience advantage at quarterback. In place of Jimmy Garoppolo, Las Vegas is turning to 15-year NFL veteran Brian Hoyer, a former Michigan State standout who has made 40 career starts. Hoyer has played for the Raiders under Josh McDaniels for the most of his career, so his familiarity with the offensive scheme should offset Chicago's home field advantage.
With All-Pro wide receiver Davante Adams in this clash, the Las Vegas team also has the top player overall. Despite recent worries about his place in the offense, the six-time Pro Bowl selection is still one of the NFL's most dynamic offensive players.
