Washington Commanders what to watch:
Sam Howell, the quarterback in his second year, has guided Washington's offensive to success this season, despite the team's record possibly not reflecting it. With 3,339 passing yards, he leads the NFL and has thrown 18 touchdowns to 13 interceptions. Howell has taken an incredible 55 sacks despite his effectiveness in the air, which has frequently put the Commanders in a terrible field position.
Despite just scoring two touchdowns, veteran wide receiver Terry McLaurin leads the team with 60 grabs for 694 yards. Brian Robinson, a running back, has caught 29 passes for 326 yards and three touchdowns in addition to rushing for 611 yards and five scores.
Miami Dolphins what to watch:
Tua Tagovailoa, the quarterback for Miami, has been outstanding in 2023. He has passed for 22 touchdowns and 3,177 yards, ranking him in the top five NFL passers. Alongside the Cowboys, he has guided Miami to become one of the league's top two offenses, making him a strong candidate for MVP on a club headed for a division championship. Washington allows the third-most passing yards per game, but on Sunday, Tagovailoa and the Miami offense shouldn't be stopped.
Tyreek Hill, a wide receiver, is in the lead for the NFL Offensive Player of the Year award right now after an almost unstoppable season. With his amazing quickness and route running, Hill leads the league in receiving. In the pivotal victory over the Jets last week, Hill hauled in nine passes for 102 yards and a touchdown. In Week 13, Washington will have a difficult time slowing him down.
