Cleveland Browns what to watch:
The league's best defense, Cleveland, presents San Francisco's attack with its toughest test of the year. Jim Schwartz, the defensive coordinator for the Browns, has a 7-1 record versus 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan and has completely changed Cleveland's defense in his first year of employment. In terms of yards allowed and passing yards allowed, the Browns are the league leaders.
Leading the charge is Myles Garrett, who has 5.5 sacks in his first four games, followed by Obo Okoronkwo's 2.5. After its dismal showing against Baltimore, Cleveland took a week off, which gave the Browns a favorable matchup with San Francisco on Sunday, a team coming off a primetime game. In their last seven matchups, the Browns have prevailed five times.
San Francisco 49ers what to watch:
San Francisco has won four of its five games this season by double digits, demonstrating its dominance thus far. Last week, the 49ers easily covered the 3.5-point spread in a 42-10 victory over Dallas in primetime. With 17 of 24 passes completed for 252 yards and four touchdowns, quarterback Brock Purdy improved to 10-0 in his ten regular-season starts.
With a passing rating of 72.1%, nine touchdowns, and zero interceptions, Purdy leads the NFL. Although Cleveland's defense leads the NFL in yards allowed per game, it recently suffered a 28-3 thumping loss to Baltimore. Walker faced one of the league's top teams in his first start for Cleveland, despite his lackluster performance in seven career starts during three seasons with Carolina.
