San Francisco 49ers what to watch:

Last week's six-game winning streak for San Francisco was ended by the Ravens, although the 49ers outgained Baltimore 429–343. Five turnovers ultimately proved to be their downfall, and they have now lost their last three games in which they have trailed in turnovers this season.

They are facing one of the NFL's most turnover-prone teams this year, but they are still plus-eight in that area this season. With 13 turnovers against just four takeaways over their current six-game losing run, the Commanders have 27 giveaways and a minus-10 differential.

Washington Commanders what to watch:  what to watch:

Washington recently suffered its sixth consecutive defeat. Last week, the Commanders were defeated by the Jets 30-28, although not by much. With five seconds left, Greg Zuerlein's 54-yard field goal put Washington behind for good, ending their chances of rallying from a 20-point deficit.

The Commanders decided to bench Sam Howell following their sixth consecutive loss, starting Jacoby Brissett as the team's quarterback for the balance of the regular season. But due to a hamstring injury, Brissett will be sidelined on Sunday, forcing Howell to take over at quarterback. This season, the second-year quarterback has tallied 300 passing yards in five different games. Last week, San Francisco gave up 241 passing yards and two touchdowns through the air to the quarterback.
