Detroit Lions what to watch:

Since 2017, Detroit hasn't begun a season 2-0, but the Lions can carry over the momentum from their thrilling victory in Week 1 into Week 2. David Montgomery is handling the run game in Dan Campbell's attack, while Jared Goff is finding success with both Josh Reynolds and Amon-Ra St. Brown. The Lions possess the firepower to overcome the Seahawks on Sunday, even though they haven't triumphed over them since 2012.

The same can't be said about the Seahawks offense, which converted just two third-down attempts in their loss to the Rams. Seattle will also be at a disadvantage on Sunday due to the injuries they sustained in their season opener. In addition, the Lions are 5-0 against the spread in their last five games at home.

Seattle Seahawks what to watch:

Despite having high hopes going into the 2023 season, the Seahawks struggled mightily in Week 1. Pete Carroll leads a squad with several seasoned veterans, and history has shown that he is one of the league's more effective coaches after a loss. While having a difficult first week against the Rams, quarterback Geno Smith was selected to the Pro Bowl in 2022.

With DK Metcalf, Tyler Lockett, and rookie Jaxon Smith-Njigba at his disposal, Smith now has one of the best trio of wide receivers in the NFL. With all of the talent in its offensive attack, Seattle's passing yardage was limited to just 112 versus Los Angeles, a situation that is unlikely to repeat.
