Detroit Lions what to watch:

This season, Jared Goff has emerged as one of the league's top quarterbacks. During the regular season, the former No. 1 overall choice was fourth in the NFL in touchdown passes and second in passing yards. QB Jared Goff passed for a season-high 353 yards and two touchdowns in the Week 6 victory over Tampa Bay.

Aidan Hutchinson is a formidable pass-rushing player for Detroit off the edge as well. Hutchinson, the No. 2 overall choice in the 2022 NFL Draft, has been under the most pressure this season—including during the playoffs—across the league. He was pressured on nine out of twenty-three pass rushes in the Wild Card victories against the Rams last week. This is the highest pressure rate any player has had in the last five postseasons.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers what to watch:

The Buccaneers finished the regular season with just 18 turnovers, good for sixth place in the NFL. They also consistently scored in the top 10 for both third and fourth down efficiency. Baker Mayfield, the quarterback, is performing at a high level right now, as shown by his 337 yards and three touchdowns against the Eagles last week, all without an interception.

Running back Rachaad White is a workhorse at the position and finished seventh in the NFL this season with 1,539 yards from scrimmage. Outside receiver Mike Evans caught 79 catches for 1,255 yards in 2023, earning him a spot on the second team All-Pro. Evans led the NFL with 13 receiving touchdowns and has at least 1,000 receiving yards in ten consecutive seasons.
